Urban Arts Entertainment Group
www.urbanartsent.com (UAEG) is a dedicated live events management company that was launched in response to the growing demand for live events globally. Their core team of consultants consist of group of industry professionals and creative lateral thinkers who provide a diverse range of skills and excellent attention to strategic detail with proven budget and business-case development success.
UAEG produce live music festivals in the UK and internationally alongside developing unique location-based entertainment concepts. The company has been working closely with the AP Foundation and supports young people and ex-offenders, helping them stay away from offending through offering them training as well as in some cases intern-ships.
Industry research predicts the global concert and music festival market will be worth £10bn by 2019. In addition to UK music festivals, the broader live events market is fast-growing.
Similar to the relationship, which exists between the Samaritans and Listeners scheme, AP Foundation has structured a number of strong alliances with several faith based organisations that guarantees support is made available to ex- offenders who have recently been released from prison and are trying to integrate back into the community.
Without prejudice they offer moral support through faith and help ex-offenders with their personal development helping them overcome depression, lack of self esteem and any drug or alcohol dependencies which may have lead to their incarceration in the first place or could potentially become a trigger for them to re-offend.
Reformed Foundation is a peer led mentoring organisation that aims to reduce offending by supporting young people at risk and ex-offenders. Their belief is that through the right support people have the ability to change and improve the lives and behaviour of offenders both inside and outside prisons while reducing crime in the community.
Their target is to provide young people from disadvantaged and criminal backgrounds with opportunities to learn new skills, work on projects in the UK and abroad, and receive free mentoring support without feeling they are charity cases.
Over the past six years the principal of the AP Foundation has been working closely with this organisation to help them achieve their goals.
We also work alongside a number of UK based independent film production companies. Their teams are made up of industry professionals who are passionate film makers that craft in making scripted content. Specialising in live-action filming, green screen shoots and aerial filming and photography for films of all formats and styles. They recognise the value of teamwork and aim to provide a collaborative work environment. To that end, training is a core part of the business.
